There is a growing realization amongst governments that letting people enjoy complete freedom on the Internet is not such a smart move. For starters, autocratic governments are just not interested in letting their people enjoy even the most basic access to Internet without restrictions. Take China as an example. It is prepared to hack into the servers of Google but is not prepared to make changes to its policies to help its population enjoy the best services on the Internet.

However, the growing realization is not restricted to these autocratic countries alone. The British government will certainly not be impressed if builders north London firms start criticizing the London Olympic preparation on the Internet. Those individuals who seek to embarrass the efforts of the British government will jump up on these statements and criticisms to ridicule the overall Olympic effort. In such a scenario, the government would obviously try to prevent such messages and comments from going online instead of trying to counter the damage at a later date.

Of course, not all criticism that happens on the Internet is completely logical and rational. In such a scenario, a sincere politician may find his or her ratings falling simply because there is a clique on the Internet that is trying to do its best to bring down his or her reputation. Leaving the Internet free for all individuals means that it can be manipulated as one pleases. Perhaps this is not the best option when it comes to maintaining order and public morale, especially during tough times.

What is really disturbing is that even the slightest attempt to control the Internet results in a huge barrage of criticism. Even the most liberal government is accused of being autocratic and dictatorial when it tries to liberate the freedom of expression on the Internet. It is just a matter of time before the government bites the bullet and does all that is necessary to control how the Internet works.

Recently it dawned on me that the Internet has become the main source of entertainment in today’s modern times. It has also become a key social activity for most people in most cities in the country including London and many do a lot of things online including watching funny videos. YouTube is easily the most well known site for videos including funny ones. Currently there are millions of users and visitors to the YouTube website.

I have seen teaching, prank, magician London, and even babies singing videos on YouTube. My friends and I however love to watch those truly funny YouTube videos.

So how should you search for videos to laugh out with friends? You Tube has built in function which thinks like a human does. It is data-based. Just type in what particular type of video you want and the platform will automatically give specific choices for that particular video.

For instance, you and your friends wanted to watch a video about a baby who falls down from bed while sleeping. If you type “baby falls down from bed while sleeping, this will present you four more new categories from the four keywords baby, falls down, bed and sleeping. This could even take you into more funny videos which you and your friends could laugh with for hours.

You Tube also loads funny social events with more categories to choose from. Whether modern or old time memories, everything is stored in You Tube. Hilarious stories of powerful people never made known to the public before are now found in You Tube. You will never run out of things to laugh with in there. So if you are planning for a laugh out loud activity with friends, You Tube has a lot of funny things that you can laugh at for hours.

Ok, so tablets came on the market not that long ago and to my opinion they evolved far too fast - which I suppose is a good thing. But one thing has been always bothering me about these devices - how would they be a serious competition to powerful laptops? Well, even you stop advertising tablets on banner stands or even remove the TV ads, they will still be ruling the future market simply because they perform far too well for a relatively new product. And in terms of gaming, I must admit tablets offer you much more fun sometimes.

Reason number one why tablets appeal to me so much is because of the graphics - you have a game developed for a specific tablet and for a specific platform (and with laptops you have a game with characteristics that not every laptop can cover) so once downloaded you have no problem with the graphics - it looks great, it feels great, it does not break in between (as it happens with laptops quite too often) and gaming itself is not lagging at all.

Secondly, the feel of touchscreen goes beyond my initial expectations - controlling characters with touch screen technology makes it so much easier to enjoy a game. I can play my favorite games anywhere I am without worrying I might be having troubles using my device. Additionally, the tilt technology is just awesome - you can actually drive cars, control planes and many more by simply tilting the device - is there a better option for controls in the gaming industry???

And the variety of games for tablets is growing. Thanks to innovative technology, games are becoming better without requiring more RAM or larger video adapter as it often happens with computers. So I would keep enjoying tablet gaming and I would strongly recommend you to at least try it - do not buy a tablet just for the sake of gaming, but should you get one, you should know that entertainment on tablets is just what you would expect from such a high tech device.

I am one of those people who are really concerned about the environment and the effects of things we are doing to it on the future of this planet we live on called Earth. One of the things that is continually concerning me has to do with the melting glaciers. Melting glaciers are found in the icy regions of the earth. The two poles are their main areas of concentration.

When glaciers melt faster than ice can be replenished there are very few benefits to be had.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Usually there will be some very serous repercussions. Here are a few of them that may need to be printed on banner stands so that more people would know.

Sea-level Rise

On higher altitudes the water that forms when glaciers melt will create rivers that will make their way to the sea. At lower altitudes such as sea level glaciers that melt do so and empty straight into the sea. This has contributed greatly to the current rise in sea level that is averaging some 2mm yearly. Sooner or later what this will mean is that coastal towns and cities will have to relocate because of the impending flooding. Once it is melted, the heat from the sun hits the earth and increase global warming. Icebergs get melted and water level is increased. Fresh water supply becomes over flooded with salt water from the increased sea water.

Hydroelectric shortage

A number of countries worldwide depend greatly on hydroelectricity and here the plants depend of melting glaciers to provide the desired amount of water to generate power. When the flow of water falls or stops so will electricity production.

Loss of Habitat for Fish, Birds, and Animals

Quite a number of fish, birds and animals are dependent on glaciers for their very survival. Whether it’s the fish, low temperatures, or sea plants provided by the glacier these animals cannot do without them.

Melting glaciers cannot be stopped some scientists believe so we have to make the necessary adjustments to our world and our lifestyle.

GroupMe.com brings you a special app for all major platforms. It works with iPhone, Android, as well as Blackberry products. Even people with an old-fashioned flip phone can utilize the service by texting.

It comes with Foursquare integration as well as a built-in location finder. In fact, GroupMe.com had added the special Foursquare integration just a couple of weeks back. The most recent Smartphone app lets you to check in to different venues. You will get to view exactly where your pals are. Even if members of the group do not use Foursquare, it is absolutely possible that they’ll still tag up their current locations to help you find them easily.

Users will also get the convenience of group calling with just a tap or two. Just a tap starts up an efficient conference call, where you are at your liberty to choose whatever group you want. GroupMe.com is giving Fast Society a run for its money when it comes to making convenient group calls. Whereas in Fast Society it is just a short while before the “team” you created expire, GroupMe.com doesn’t push any kind of time restriction. This is one site where you won’t be in need of any London it support.

Sending texts is also easy without using up your entire available carrier limit. GroupMe.com provides you with the sole option to efficiently send your chosen group texts by utilizing your carrier’s SMS service from in the app. Those who do not have indefinite text limits on the cell phone plan are not on a back foot either with GroupMe.com. Actually, the in-app messaging happens to be the top way for you to ensure you do not surpass your limit.

So if you’re a huge fan of group networking, then you should definitely give GroupMe.com a spin.

There’s no point me denying it: I am a forum user of epic proportions. Yeah, I’m one of those people who you see posting time and time again. I am the familiar voice on fantasy book forums, games forums and every other forum (especially if it’s connected in any small way to WoW).

And so I know all the tricks. I can sense when two different users – sometimes three – is actually one user trying to pretend and get away with it. I can also sense when someone has posted just to annoy people, to fire start, to get peoples goats.

I can also sense The Forum Trap.

The Forum Trap, if you’re not familiar – and it’s good to be specific as not everyone has the same name for the same traps – is when someone posts an inviting question, then, when that person responds with their opinion, goes massively on the attack and makes them look foolish. I’ve seen it time and time again. An example of such a Trap might be as follows:

trappers are there, lying in wait, so be wise to their evil plans and schemes

User A: Hey, so what’s your opinion on the fantasy covers of 2008.

Now, User A knows full well that 2008 was a bad year for fantasy book covers. So they’ve placed this Trap to trick User B. For one they want to be ambiguous and that’s why they missed out the book part, to trip them up, and for another thing they obviously want to see when they became a fan. Their guess, then, is that the Trap will snare them and User B will look ridiculous.

User B responds with: I really liked them actually, you?

User A says: I hated them. Funny you should say that, 2008 wasn’t the best year for fantasy book covers…

And so it goes on. Seriously: it doesn’t matter if you frequent forums which talk about the merits of

4×4 cars or forums which discuss the logistics of cocaine – they are all the same. And the trappers are there, lying in wait, so be wise to their evil plans and schemes. Personally, I don’t see what the point is. But I guess to them it’s a kind of game.

There is a way to combat this, of course: you could be like me and devise your own trap to trap the trappers. It works sometimes, not all the time – too smart for their own good – but when it does, my, it gives you a rush!

And now enough of my ranting. Goodbye!

Do you have the habit of dispensing financial advice to your friends and relatives? Do you inquire about their problems and tried to find a solution for the same? Well, I have a very simple rule - never give advice. Not even when asked.

It has been my experience that people ask for advice only to find the person whom they can blame when things go wrong. Most of us know what we want and are aware of how we should achieve our goals. The advice that we seek invariably focuses on our fears and shortcomings. Why is it that we need to hear something obvious from the mouth of another individual to work on the same?

You may advise your friends or relatives that they should avoid impulsive expenditure. Well, can anybody really grow up in this world without understanding that? We all have indulged in impulsive expenditure when we got our first pocket money. We always regretted our haste and concluded that it was better to save and be patient. In such a scenario, how is your advice going to make a difference?

The question of listening to advise does not arise because there is nothing new in it. Chances are high that the recipients know your advice. Those who do not follow it will still find a way to blame you for their current financial mess. Why try to solve such a problem? Lead life without asking for advice and avoid giving it to the maximum extent possible.

Where would I be without my musing? I’d be in trouble is where. When I muse I do the following things, all of which are necessary:

1) I work out problems and solutions in my mind.

2) I work out emotional aspects of me which need looking at.

3) I work out where I am at with my friends and family, and what I could do to improve my relationships.

4) I work out new creative ideas in a landscape where anything is possible.

5) I take a total break from my life. It’s like taking a small, mental holiday from all of my many commitments. Which I happen to think is my right.

This is why musing is so important, because with your eyes closed and the possibilities limited only to what you can dream up, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Doesn’t that sound good to you?

It sounds great to me.

Why, then, is musing frowned upon? People who don’t know better would call it day-dreaming. Personally I think they should take a look in the mirror and ask themselves what harm musing can do. If you ask me, it’s the people who don’t muse who you really have to worry about!

Of course, as my friend – who often daydreams about Bella Montagna Homes and owning a big house – demonstrates, it is possible to daydream / muse too much. If you ask me, though, as long as you set aside time for both getting things done and musing then you have the best of both worlds.

Have you ever wondered why you will sometimes wake up with a pulled muscle in your neck for no apparent reason? I have… because it has happened to me so many damn times before! It’s not like I take part in extreme sports or spend my days lugging stacks of breezeblocks around; it just seems to come about for no logical reason whatsoever. And that is the part which really miffs me off!

Maybe it is because I have slept in an awkward position? Or it could possibly be put down to not enough activity? Either that or perhaps God has a rather cruel sense of humour… Does he get his jollies by watching me walk around looking like a total fool for a whole day?

It does make you wonder though, doesn’t it? It’s exactly the same principle as getting a spot on the end of your hooter right before a really hot date. After all, most girls don’t go for a guy with a belisha beacon attached to his snout that looks as though it’s been installed by ‘ Electricians London ‘…

And there are many other situations like that as well… For example, it is quite likely that you will develop a stinking cold the night before you go for that super-important, life-changing job interview!

So, is ‘The Man Upstairs’an out and out sadist? Does he enjoy embarrassing us all with absurd or intimidating afflictions??? I certainly hope not! Actually I don’t believe that at all; it’s simply the way things go. At least I think it is…

Millions will now sue Sony Corp. for their extensive and massive failure to protect users data and to secure the access to information by external bodies by imposing specific data filtering firewalls. Recently, the corporation has lost the its rights of service distribution in several countries in the EU after it failed to maintain proper standard of care towards its customers and many lost their money over credit cards when their details have been stoled by, apparently, quite talanted hackers.

But Sony is disappointing me even more with their reluctance to discuss the matter. I am a person who has been a PS player for many years and simply being given zero official information in a press release or simply an interview of a big boss who would calmly explain the situation is quite disturbing. Imagine you are a huge corporation providing gaming services and consoles to several hundred million people over the world - would you stay silent like a lamb when you see that your people are losing money simply because they picked up your products. This is kinda upsetting and I am not quite sure whether I won’t replace my PS3 with a new Xbox this summer.

And one more thing - the complaints Sony has previously received is not some London PR strategy by someone who wants to show himself competent - these were real evidence-based claims that something might go wrong with the system and money might be lost. However, no Sony guy bothered to investigate the matter and the results are quite evident - several millions are already missing from the credit and debit cards of many European users using the system and the PS3 console.
